PROGRESS:

Justice For All was formed on January 6th to defend and advance
disability rights and programs in the 104th Congress. Our first
E-mail test message went out a month ago, January 9th. Since
then we have grown from 20 to over 100 subscriber/advocates.
We have sent out over 20 "mass E-mailings", ranging from action
alerts to Congressional staffing updates. Counting alerts,
subscriptions and housekeeping messages we've E-mailed over
1600 messages. We thank each of you for joining in our efforts
to mobilize our constituencies to protect and advance our civil
rights and programs.

REQUESTS:

1. For our action alerts to be useful they must be timely.
Messages that die in cyberspace, neither read nor shared, are
useless. Please check your E-mail daily. And please share the
alerts with your constituency!

2. For more effective grassroots advocacy we need volunteer
subscriber/advocates who will take responsibility for uploading
the alerts on:

-- the disability Bulletin Board Systems in their state
-- internet listserves, Usenet groups, E-pubs
-- Information utilities like Prodigy, America on Line,
    Compuserve, Delphi and Genie

If you are willing to check your mail daily and then forward
the E-mail alerts to the appropriate areas on any of the above,
please let me know! We also need a person in each state who
will E-mail and/or FAX the alerts directly to advocates in each
state.
