The poster for Hurricane Katrina evacuees from the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services. The poster includes national telephone
numbers, and state-specific telephone numbers contained in the drop-down
boxes on the following benefits and services:

Mental Health Hotline (national 1-800 number)
Head Start Services (national 1-800 number)
TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families--state specific number)
SCHIP (State Children's Health Insurance Program--state-specific number)
Elder Care (national 1-800 number)
Medicare (national 1-800 number)
Medicaid (state-specific number)
www.hhs.gov web address

CMS is passing this along for your distribution to your state, regional
and local offices, shelters or community centers; wherever you think we
can reach evacuees that may need our help.
Also attached is a brief description on how to operate the drop down menu
that will create a poster for each individual state. It prints well in
color or black and white, and it's regular paper size, 8 1/2 x 11.
Thank you in advance for distributing this information--you are vital to
our benefits and services reaching the people we need to help.
